KANSAS CITY, Mo. – For the first time this season, Kaylon Johnson (SR/Memphis, Tenn.) has been honored as the Heart Football Offensive Player of the Week.
Johnson rushed for a career-high 205 yards on 24 attempts in the 42-7 win over Graceland. He also scored three rushing touchdowns, including a 74-yard scamper to end the scoring in the 3rd quarter. The Eagles are now 2-2 on the season with two games left before division play will begin.
Central will continue play this Saturday with a trip to William Penn University. Kickoff is set for 6 PM in Oskaloosa, Iowa.
