Fayette, Mo. - Central Methodist defensive lineman Will Miles has been signed as an undrafted free agent with the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League.
Miles is the second Eagle to sign a professional contract this year, as Mar'Quess Daniels inked a deal with the Edmonton Elks of the Canadian Football League in March.
Miles spent four seasons with the Eagles, appearing in 24 games and tallying 139 tackles, 46 tackles for loss, 16 sacks, and six pass breakups.
This past season, Miles started in all 12 games for Central, racking up 56 total tackles and a team-leading seven sacks. For his efforts in 2021, he was named a Heart First Team All-Conference performer and an NAIA Honorable Mention All-American.
He was also nominated for the Cliff Harris Award, which is presented to the nation's top small college defensive player.
Prior to his time with CMU, Miles spent two seasons at Arizona Western College in Yuma, Ariz. He led the Matadors to two WSFL conference championships and a NJCAA Region 1 Championship.
