Kansas City, Mo. - Central Methodist sophomore linebacker Lontas Mcclinton was named the Heart Football Defensive Player of the Week, announced by the conference office Monday.
Mcclinton, a native of Sikeston, Mo., recorded 13 tackles for CMU in their 9-6 loss to William Penn this past Saturay. He also picked up a fumble recovery and returned it 64-yards for a touchdown.
Mcclinton and the Eagles will return home to host MidAmerica Nazarene University Saturday, Oct. 8 at 1:00 p.m. as part of Homecoming weekend.
