Football Yields 16 NAIA Scholar-Athletes

Kansas City, Mo. - Sixteen members of the Central Methodist Football team were named Daktronics NAIA Football Scholar-Athletes by the national office Tuesday. 

Central was represented by the following student-athletes; Antony Bondy, Cesar Chaparro, Davion Stockard, Dillan Kessing, Donald Garland, Evan Workman, Evan Cox, Jalen LaBella, Jett Rollins, Joseph Slattery, Kaleb Small, Ky'on Bass, Lane Moody, Nathaniel Marshall, Riley Walker, and Samual Reed. 

The group is among 900 student-athletes from across the country to be recognized. 

In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport, and have attended one full year at said institution.
