Atchison, Kan. - The Central Methodist Football program suffered a 47-0 defeat to No. 8 nationally ranked Benedictine College Saturday afternoon in Atchison, Kan. 

The Eagles fall to 0-8 and 0-2 in conference action, while the Ravens improve to 6-1 and 1-0 in the Heart. 

AJ Allen led the receiving core with four receptions for 50 yards including a long of 26.

On the defensive side of the ball, Donald Garland finished the day with a game-high 11 tackles while Erik Mays added five. Keshawn Johnson forced a Benedictine turnover on an interception early in the first quarter. 

The Raven's offense outgained Central in yardage 429 to 106 and controlled time of possession for nearly 35 minutes of game action. 

The Eagles are now on their bye week, and will next face rival Missouri Valley College Saturday, Oct. 29 at 1:00 p.m. in Marshall, Mo.
