In Saturday's match, Hannibal-LaGrange got on the scoreboard first with a goal in the 11th minute. The Lady Eagles fought back and junior Lauren Robb (Columbia, Mo.) tied the score at 1-1 in the 60th minute on a penalty kick. Neither team was able to notch a game-winning goal during the remainder of regulation and two overtime periods, ending the match in a 1-1 double-overtime tie. CMU finished with 25 shots, including 11 on goal, in the match, while Hannibal-LaGrange had 13 shots with eight on goal.

On Sunday, the Lady Eagles played to a scoreless tie in the first half against Doane, but the Tigers got on the board in the 57th minute with a goal. CMU was unable to answer as the Lady Eagles suffered the 1-0 loss. Central Methodist managed just two shots during the game, while Doane finished with 15 shots, including 11 on goal. Freshman Meredith Brick (Chillicothe, Mo.) had 10 saves in the net for CMU in her first collegiate start.

The Lady Eagles dropped to 0-2-1 on the season after the weekend. CMU will return to action Wednesday as the Lady Eagles host Harris-Stowe State University in a 5 p.m. match at Davis Field. The Lady Eagles will also play host to Tabor College at 5 p.m. Friday.
