Benedictine scored in the 32nd minute to take a 1-0 lead, before adding a pair of goals in the second half to earn the 3-0 win. The Lady Eagles were out-shot 28-6 in the match. Sophomore Kristen Bailey (St. Louis, Mo.) played nearly 70 minutes in goal for CMU, picking up nine saves, while allowing three goals. Freshman Brittany Andert (St. Peters, Mo.) played the remaining 20-plus minutes in goal, getting two saves.

CMU dropped to 3-7-1 overall and 0-3 in the HAAC with the loss. Benedictine improved to 7-1-3 on the season and 1-1 in the conference. The Lady Eagles have the week off to prepare for next Saturday's match at NAIA No. 11 Graceland University. That match is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. in Lamoni, Iowa.
