Central Methodist University sophomore Shawn Beard (Moberly, Mo.) was named to the Heart of America Athletic Conference Women's Soccer All-Conference Third Team, announced Tuesday.

Beard, a midfielder, was the lone women's soccer player from CMU represented on the 2010 All-HAAC teams. Beard had three goals and three assists on the season for Central Methodist. She also led the team in shots and shots on goal with 48 and 22, respectively. Beard has started all 36 matches of her career at Central Methodist and now has eight goals and six assists through her first two collegiate seasons.
