Adair, Andert sweep HAAC WSOC weekly awards
KANSAS CITY, Mo. Central Methodist University teammates Lindie Adair and Brittany Andert were chosen the Heart of AmericaAthletic Conference Women's Soccer Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week, respectively, on Monday afternoon.

Adair accounted for half of her team's offensive output last week as the Eagles won both of their matches toimprove to 5-1 on the season. The sophomore forward from Boonville, Mo., scored twice in a 4-0 win over Ottawa University (Kan.) beforeadding a goal and an assist in a 2-0 triumph over Hannibal-LaGrange University.

The Eagles' defensive unit led by Andert did not allow a goal in 180minutes of play last week. A junior goalkeeper from St. Peters, Mo., she made two saves in 54 minutes of the win over Ottawa beforerecording three saves while logging all 90 minutes of the win over Hannibal-LaGrange. Andert wins the award for the second time this season.

The HAAC Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week will represent the conference for the NAIA awards, whichwill be announced no later than Tuesday afternoon.
