Noreen tabbed HAAC Offensive POW

KANSAS CITY Central Methodist forward Nicki Noreen has been selected the Heart of America Athletic Conference (HAAC) Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday.

Noreen was on target in both games for the Eagles last week as Central Methodist claimed a pair of victories. The freshman from Bartlett, Ill., scored once in a 5-4 win over Lindenwood-Belleville (Ill.) before scoring the overtime match-winner while assisting on the opening goal in a 2-1 triumph at 22nd-ranked Graceland (Iowa).

Noreen leads the Eagles with 11 goals and nine assists. In the HAAC per game, she ranks second in points (2.07) and assists (0.6) and third in goals (0.73) and game-winning goals (0.27).

Noreen will represent the conference in consideration for the NAIA Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week award, which will be handed out each week through the rest of the regular season.
