FAYETTE, Mo. - As part of the Central Methodist Champions of Character initiative, the women's soccer team volunteered its time at the Fayette Ministerial Alliance Pantry on Thursday.

"It is great to give back to the community of Fayette," Eagles' head coach Dan Schmidlin commented. "Fayette is an awesome town, and our girls enjoyed their experience today. We look forward to our next trip to the Fayette food pantry."

Seventeen student-athletes loaded shopping carts for families and took to their groceries to vehicles.

Central Methodist has been named an NAIA Champions of Character Five-Star Institution for five-straight academic years.
