With the victory, the Eagles improve to 1-1 on the young season, while Tabor drops to 1-1 on the season.

Tabor was first to strike on Friday night, when Hayley Stoval scored on a pass from Lydia Padilla to put the Bluejays up 1-0 just 18 minutes into the game.
�
Central Methodist answered with a goal of their own in the 28th minute from Nicki Noreen to tie the game at one.
�
After heading into halftime all nodded at one goal apiece, both defenses played extremely hard to preserve the time through 90 minutes of play.
�
In the first overtime, Nicki Noreen received a pass from Ana Gonzalez and scored the game winning goal in the 98th minute to give CMU their first victory in 2015. Noreen finished the game with five shots on goal.

As a team, CMU outshot Tabor 21-6.

Eagles' goaltender Amy Clason-Messina picked up the victory in goal Friday night, while making a pair of saves.
�
CMU closes out their three game road trip tomorrow at Friends University. The Eagles open the home portion of their schedule this Tuesday September 1st when Hannibal-LaGrange comes to town. Game time is set for 5pm at Davis Field.
