With the tie, CMU moves to 3-4-2 on the season and 0-1-1 in Heart of America Athletic Conference play. Missouri Valley saw their record move to 6-0-3 and 0-0-2 in Heart of America Athletic Conference play following the draw.

The goalies and the defense by both sides were the stories on Wednesday evening. Amy Clason-Messina recorded 10 saves in the draw, while Irene Sanchez made five saves for Missouri Valley College.

Nicki Noreen led the Lady Eagles with two shots on goal and came so close to getting CMU on the scoreboard. Overall, Missouri Valley outshot CMU 22-6 in the contest. Missouri Valley also took 11 corner kicks to zero for Central Methodist.

The Lady Eagles get set to head out on the road now for a four match roadtrip, beginning this Saturday when CMU travels to Kansas to face the University of Saint Mary for their final non-conference match of the season.
