With the victory, Central Methodist improves to 6-4-2 overall, and 2-1-1 in Heart of America Athletic Conference play. With the loss, William Penn falls to 5-5-0 overall and 2-3-0 in The Heart.

William Penn scored the matches first goal in the 17th minute, when Alyce Correia found the back of the net to make the score 1-0 in favor of the Statesmen.
�
That lead would hold into halftime. But in the second half, the Lady Eagles offense came alive and could not be contained.
�
CMU tied the game just ten minutes into the second half, when Lady Tiriat found Ana Gonzalez to tie the game at 1-1.
�
Just seven minutes later, the Lady Eagles would find themselves with a 2-1 lead after Rebecca Steele-Mackey found Jordie Retzlaff for a goal.
�
Central Methodist added two more goals in the final seven minutes of the match to seal the 4-1 victory. Ana Gonzalez added her second goal of the night in the 83rd minute, followed by a goal from Nicki Noreen in the 86th minute.

CMU outshot William Penn 17-7 on Saturday night. Amy Clason-Messina was strong once again between the pipes for the Lady Eagles, recording three saves in the victory.
�
The Lady Eagles take the week off to rest, before returning to play next Saturday October 10th at Graceland University. The women's match is scheduled to begin at 5pm in Lamoni, Iowa.
