KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Central Methodist University women's soccer program wrapped up its historic 2019 campaign with a Top 10 finish in the postseason edition of the NAIA Women's Soccer Coaches' Top 25 Poll.
The Eagles (22-0-1) finish the season in the No. 8 slot after tallying 362 points in the final poll. The women's soccer program set a number of milestones during the remarkable season, including a program-high national ranking at No. 5, the program's first-ever conference tournament title, and making the program's first-ever appearance at the final site of the national event.
As a team, they finish ranked 4th in shots on goal per game (12.3), 5th in goals per game (4.17), 6th in total assists (65), and 6th in total goals (96). They outscored opponents by a 93-26 margin and secured nine shutouts on the year.
