Fayette, Mo. – The Central Methodist Volleyball team closed out the regular season on a high note, earning a 3-1 victory over Peru State College Saturday afternoon inside Puckett Field House.
The Eagles took the match by scores of 25-11, 25-14, 22-25, and 25-14.
Prior to the match, the program honored its 2025 senior class, which included Lauryn Farish, Gimena Dezeo, Joana Milho, Hailey Dreier, and Kiya Kolb.
Milho led the charge offensively with 14 kills and added 10 digs to record a double-double. Junior Luciana Araujo followed with 13 kills, posting a team-best .579 hitting percentage and three service aces. Gimena Dezeo added 11 kills, while junior Martina Gonzato chipped in seven.
Sophomore setter Mariah Bostic-Jones led the setters with 26 assists and seven digs. Fellow setter, freshman Ramsey Spinks, dished out 22 assists and added six digs.
Freshman libero Vitoria Martins led the defense with 13 digs and added a pair of service aces.
As a team, the Eagles hit an efficient .246, holding the Wildcats to just .041 on the attack.
With the win, Central improves to 23-7 overall and 13-5 in the Heart of America Athletic Conference. The Eagles now turn their focus to the Heart Postseason Tournament, set to begin Saturday, November 8.
